Donald Trump visits United states Armies In Afghanistan

President Donald Trump made an unexpected Thanksgiving visit to U.S. troops in Afghanistan on Thursday, November 28th and said he trusted Taliban extremists would consent to a truce in America's longest war.

Trump's visit was his first to Afghanistan since turning out to be president and came seven days after a detainee swap among Washington and Kabul that has raised trusts in a long tricky harmony bargain.

"The Taliban needs to make an arrangement and we are meeting with them. We state it must be a truce and they would not like to do a truce and now they need to do a truce, I accept. It will most likely play out as expected" Trump told correspondents in the wake of landing in Afghanistan after a medium-term departure from the United States, stayed discreet for security reasons.

Trump met with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and served turkey to some U.S. troops before plunking down to have Thanksgiving supper with them. He talked and had his image taken with a portion of the U.S. powers conveyed there.

Sharing photographs from the outing, President Trump composed, 'just came back to the United States in the wake of going through a GREAT Thanksgiving with our Courageous American Warriors in Afghanistan'.
